Info sessions set on employment with new Emerson Ash Flat facility

The Northeast Arkansas Regional Intermodal Authority is partnering with Emerson Professional Tools and Ozarka College to host a series of informational sessions Dec. 16 and 17. The sessions for those interested in working at Emerson’s new Sharp County facility will be held at Ozarka College’s Ash Flat campus. Sessions on Dec. 16 are at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sessions on Dec. 17 are at 9 and 11 a.m.

Those interested in working at Emerson in Ash Flat are invited to join the sessions to learn more about the new facility and available jobs, as well as the project timeline.

Registration is limited due to Covid-19, and masks are required to attend.

In late October, Emerson officials announced a new facility will open in Ash Flat with a $35 million investment and the creation of approximately 245 new jobs within four years.

Emerson acquired the former Cherokee Frame facility for this project. The facility is 277,000 square feet.
