Voting is underway for Mountain Home’s Christmas light contest. Light Up Mountain Home has 33 homes in the residential competition. To vote for your favorite, TEXT your vote 1-33 to (551) 800-9637. One one vote per number is allowed.
In the Light Up Mountain Home commercial category, there are 12 entries.
Voting in the commercial category will be made by Mountain Home Mayor Hillrey Adams.
Lists for both Mountain Home light categories are available to help guide those interested in viewing or voting.
The Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce has also developed a Google Earth map tool to help with the light contests.
Residences are indicated with “red” pins and businesses with “green” pins.
Voting continues through Dec. 31.
