MC Quorum Court meeting Tuesday following ADH requirements

The Marion County Quorum Court is set to meet in regular session Tuesday evening at 6 for its first session of the new year following Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) guidelines.Marion County Judge John Massey says officials have been notified by ADH 22 is the maximum number of people who will be allowed in the audience, as long as individuals are 6 feet apart. Husbands and wives may sit together and are counted as one by the ADH guidelines. This number does not include the quorum court members and the county clerk.Judge Massey says the temperatures of those attending the meeting will be checked, and a count of each person entering the courtroom will be made. Once the maximum number allowed by the ADH for attendance is met, the courtroom doors will be locked.

In addition, face masks must be worn by all those in attendance, and hand sanitizer will be used at the door before entering.

The meeting will be held in the second floor courtroom of the Marion County Courthouse.
