Three new troopers have been assigned to Troop G of the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The announcement came from Captain Bruce D. Fiske, commanding officer of Troop G in Willow Springs.
Trooper William A. Wadlington has been assigned to Zone 5, Douglas and Ozark counties. Trooper Wadlington is a native of Benton, Missouri, and is a graduate of Thomas W. Kelly High School in Benton. He attended Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness.
Before joining the patrol, he was employed by Cargill in New Madrid. Trooper Wadlington is married to Victoria (Knight) Wadlington. Trooper Wadlington’s zone supervisor will be Sgt. Charley A. Hogue, and his field training officer will be Trooper Jason W. Philpott
Trooper Landon C. Pruiett has been assigned to Zone 6, southern Howell and Oregon counties. Trooper Pruiett is a native of Braggadocio, Missouri. He is a graduate of Delta C-7 High School in Deering, Missouri, and attended Southeast Missouri State University in Kennett.
Before joining the patrol, he was employed by the Pemiscot County Sheriff’s Department in Caruthersville. Trooper Pruiett is married to Kaitlyn (Palmer) Pruiett. Trooper Pruiett’s zone supervisor will be Sgt. Scott L. Nelson, and his field training officer will be Trooper Chris A. Kimes.
Trooper Zachary L. Ricker has been assigned to Zone 8, Carter and Reynolds counties. Trooper Ricker is a native of Van Buren, Missouri, and is a graduate of Van Buren High School. He attended Mineral Area College in Park Hills, Missouri, where he obtained an Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice.
Before joining the patrol, he was employed by the Saint Genevieve County Sheriff’s Department in Saint Genevieve. He is married to Torrie (Helms) Ricker and has two sons, Caleb and Ridge. Trooper Ricker’s zone supervisor will be Sgt. Shawn M. Dougherty. and his field training officer will be Cpl. Thomas W. Meyer.
The new troopers were members of the 110th Recruit Class of the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The 110th Recruit Class began training on Aug. 3, 2020 and graduated Wednesday. They will report for duty on Feb. 16.
