The Mountain Home School Board will be asked to take action on four items of business when it meets in regular session Thursday evening at 6.The items include approval of the 2021-2022 salary schedule, with a proposed 1% district-wide increase. The proposed increase is in addition to the individual step raises.
The board will also be asked to approve the purchase of 335 Macbook Air notebooks at a cost of $284,778. The request follows the district having leased similar devices over the past four years.
With the annual school board election set for May 18, the board will be asked to approve a proposed budget of expenditures with tax rates. Arkansas statute requires publication of this information at least 60 days prior to the annual election.
The fourth board action item involves the Canvas support team for the district’s web-based learning management system.
The meeting will be held in the administration building on Rodeo Drive.
