Three area community Easter egg hunts are set for Saturday.
Saturday morning at 10, an egg hunt will be held at Pontiac park off Missouri Route W.
Jabet Wade of Pontiac Cove Marina tells the Ozark County Times, “If you’re able to contribute plastic eggs and filler (about 15 eggs per child you’re bringing) – in advance – that would be great.” Wade adds eggs may be dropped off at the marina or at MFA Propane in Gainesville on Friday.
Wade says organizers will also be hiding extra eggs that morning, so parents who aren’t able to provide filled eggs beforehand are still encouraged to bring their children.
Refreshments will be provided, and the Easter bunny will make an appearance. For more information, call Wade at (417) 679-3676.
Saturday afternoon, a community egg hunt will be held at Bakersfield from 1 until 2 at Bakersfield Pride Park.
The egg hunt is open to children age 3 to second grade. The socially-distanced event will feature prizes, candy and fun, organizers say.
The Lions Club annual Easter egg hunt is scheduled for Saturday at 10 a.m. at Rand Park in Calico Rock. The age groups are 5-and-under and 6-and-over. Over 1,500 eggs and several prizes will be available.
