Park men, Columbia College women lead after 2 rounds of Battle at Big Creek

Several college golf teams have been gathering at Big Creek Golf and Country Club this week. The second round of the Battle at Big Creek, hosted by Williams Baptist University, is in the books after Tuesday.

Park University has the lead on the men’s side with a two-day total of 582. Missouri Baptist is second, and Lyon College is third. One of the Scots’ golfers, Big Creek member and Mountain Home alum Luke Jackson, has a two-day total of 155 to be in a three-way tie for 23rd. The top of the individual leaderboard is occupied by Matt Percy of Park at three-under-par 141.

Columbia College is the top women’s team after two rounds with a total of 672. Lyon College is sixth, and they have two golfers on the women’s team that are also Mountain Home alums and Big Creek members. Sydney Czanstkowski is part of a three-way tie for fifth at 165, and Kenzie Collins is tied for 11th at 168. Emma French of Williams Baptist is at the top of the leaderboard at 159.
