Mountain Home Christian Academy senior Stone Robinson has been named an Arkansas Governor’s Distinguished Scholar. The scholarship pays tuition, mandatory fees, and room and board up to $10,000 per year.

According to the Arkansas Department of Higher Education’s website, “the Governor’s Distinguished Scholarship is the most academically rigorous scholarship program offered for those graduating seniors scoring either 32 on the ACT or 1410 on the SAT and a 3.50 academic grade point average.”

Robinson has also been awarded the competitive Chancellor’s Scholarship from John Brown University in Siloam Springs, where he has been accepted into the Honors Program and will attend in the fall.

Stone is the son of Lonnie and Robin Robinson and has been a student at Mountain Home Christian Academy since pre-kindergarten.
