A Melbourne man Thursday was sentenced to 15 years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections on 90 counts of distributing, possessing or viewing sexually explicit images involving children.
On Aug. 18, 2020, a search warrant was obtained by Cpl. Jackie Stinnett with the Arkansas State Police and 90 explicit images of children were discovered on media owned by 37-year-old Gavin R. Winter. Stinnett also found 79 images of teenage females that were not explicit.
Winter remains in the custody of the Izard County Jail and is awaiting transfer to the Department of Corrections, Izard County Chief Deputy Charley Melton said.
