One of Big Creek Golf and Country Club’s biggest events returns this week. The Chuck Morton Memorial Junior Golf Championship is scheduled for Thursday and Friday with a shotgun start of 8 a.m. both days.
The tournament is an Arkansas State Golf Association junior-designated event for ages 10 to 18, and there will be four age groups for boys and girls. Golfers ages 10 and 11 will play nine holes each day, and ages 12 and 13, 14 and 15 and 16 through 18 will play all 18 holes.
