A man from Mountain View has been arrested on multiple child pornography charges. Twenty-year-old David Marshall Moon was booked into the Stone County Jail Wednesday on 30 counts of distributing, possessing or viewing matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child. His bond has been set at $250,000.

Court records indicate the investigation started last month when law enforcement in Stone County was contacted by the National Center for Exploited and Missing Children. NCEMC had been alerted by Snapchat of an image of child pornography. Snapchat was able to provide investigators with the I.P. address being used by the user. Yelcot Telephone Company was able to trace the I.P. address to an address in Mountain View.

Wednesday, officers from the Mountain View Police Department, Stone County Sheriff’s Office and Arkansas Game and Fish executed a search warrant at the address. Moon told investigators he had a “moderate” amount of child pornography on his laptop computer and cell phone. Law enforcement discovered 94 images of child porn on the phone.
