Big Creek to host ASGA Designated Stroke Play Championship

The Arkansas State Golf Association has another event coming to Big Creek Golf and Country Club. The ASGA Designated Stroke Play Championship is scheduled for August 14 and 15.

The cost is $150, and only cash and checks will be accepted. Entries must be received by August 11 at 5 p.m., and no refunds will be given after that. Practice rounds on August 13 are $50 with a cart included.

The tournament will be split into several divisions. The amateur division is for those ages 16-and-older, mid-seniors are 25-and-older on the men’s side and 35-and-older for the women, seniors are ages 50-and-older, the super senior division includes ages 60-and-older, and the masters are ages 70-and-older.

Awards will be based on the number of entries. All awards will be merchandise certificates for Big Creek’s pro shop.
