The Mountain Home Lockeroom American Legion baseball team began the Arkansas Senior AAA State Tournament on a rough note Friday. The Lockeroom went to Conway and fell to Cabot by a final of 8-1.
Reed Ellison was the starting pitcher as he went three innings and struck out three batters.
Mountain Home falls to 26-10 on the season, and they’ll play an elimination game Saturday on the campus of the University of Central Arkansas. The first pitch at Bear Stadium is scheduled for 5:30.
