Customers of CenturyLink in the Twin Lakes Area are suffering a disruption of service due to damage to a fiber-optic line.
Jeff Stroud, Supervisor of Region Operations for CenturyLink, says the outage was caused due to a fiber line being cut outside of the area. Crews are aware of the outage and en route to make repairs. No estimation of service restoration is available at this time.
Stroud reminds CenturyLink customers to not reset their routers by pushing the button on the back or unplugging them. When the repairs are complete, the service will be automatically restored and no reset will be needed.
