Baxter County recently had two FFA members elected to state offices.
Josie Kelly, a 2021 graduate of Mountain Home High School, will serve as the FFA’s state president. Caleb Bailey, a 2021 graduate of Cotter High School, will serve as the FFA’s vice president for the state’s Northwest District.
Bailey is one of three vice presidents across the state, joining Eastern District VP Allyssa Andrews of Wynne and Southern District VP William Blankenship of Crossett.
Both Kelly and Bailey were elected into office in late April as part of the FFA’s annual state conference. This year’s conference, much like the one held the year before, was a virtual event held online due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
