The City of Mountain Home’s Advertising and Promotion Commission agreed Thursday afternoon to fund a photography and videography package for the Mountain Home Area Chamber of Commerce. The A&P Commission also agreed Thursday to provide the funds the Chamber needs for its 2022 print advertising campaign.

The A&P Commission will provide $25,000 for the Chamber’s photo and video package, which will be shot and produced by Creative Magnetic of Temecula, California. The resulting photos and videos will be used by the Chamber on social media, in advertising and at trade shows.

The Creative Magnetic package includes a two-minute story video about Mountain Home; three promotional videos of 30-60 seconds in length; three Mountain Home testimonial videos of 30-60 seconds each; a 60-image photo library for use in print, online and social media use; and 18 social media cuts ranging in length from 15-30 seconds for use on various platforms.

Chamber CEO/President Dani Pugsley says this is not the first time the Chamber has worked with Creative Magnetic.

The Chamber’s request for $25,000 also included $2,500 for Huber Media Company, which will shoot video at the NICA mountain biking event scheduled for September 25-26 at Clysta Willett Park.

A&P commissioners also agreed Thursday to provide $13,207 to the Chamber to cover 2022 print advertising costs.

The Chamber plans to purchase two full-page ads in the Arkansas: Love Where You Live guide for a total of $5,100; a half-page ad in the Arkansas Motorcycle Guide for $909 and two full-page ads in the Arkansas Travel Guide.

A&P funds are generated from the collection of a 2% sales tax on Mountain Home hotel and motel receipts. The commission has about $27,000 in unallocated funds after agreeing Thursday to fund the Chamber’s two requests.
