Baxter Regional Medical Center and Highlands Oncology of northwest Arkansas have announced a partnership to bring a new cancer treatment facility to Mountain Home.
The multi-story, 33,000-square-foot facility will be located at 639 Hospital Drive on the BRMC campus across the street from the main hospital building.
BRMC CEO Ron Peterson says, “Baxter Regional is delighted to partner with Highlands Oncology to offer world-class cancer care to our region. This is another innovation to better deliver advanced treatment to our patients.”
Core Architects, working with Crossland Construction, will design and build the new facility. The building’s front will consist of a large, curved curtain wall and glass canopies will cover the main entrance, as well as the separate PET/CT and radiation entrance.
Highlands Oncology has locations in Springdale, Fayetteville and Rogers.
