The Mountain Home Twin Lakers semi-pro basketball team opened the playoffs over the weekend with a 105-81 victory over Texarkana. The Twin Lakers are the fourth seed while the High Flyers were seeded fifth.
Josh Tarver paced Mountain Home with 23 points, Danny McCall scored 22 and Anphernie Harris had 19.
Head coach Dylan Connolly says “I was really proud of our energy and effort and taking care of business against a team we played less than 24 hours before. I know how Monty Williams (Coach of the Suns) feels with Chris Paul. IJ (Ready) is like Chris Paul. He keeps us together and keeps us going in the right direction and I never have to worry about where we are as a ball club when hes on the floor. The offseason additions of Sergio Berkley, Chris Taylor, Danny McCall and IJ have blended in well with our guys weve had for a while and the identity weve created as a team”!
The Twin Lakers will play the Millington TRavs in the second final four game of the night in Tha Truth League playoffs on Saturday at 5PM.
