High school football makes up much of the local Friday schedule, as Mountain Home has its first road test of its conference slate. The Bombers will be near the Oklahoma state line, as they meet Greenwood.

Mountain Home is 1-3 on the season and 0-1 in the 6A-West. The Bombers started league play last week with a loss to Lake Hamilton.

Greenwood is ranked fifth in Class 6A by the Arkansas Sports Media. The Bulldogs are 2-2 and 0-1, after going to Little Rock eight days ago and suffering a 20-point defeat to Parkview.

Mountain Home Head Coach Steve Ary says this will be a tough game, since Greenwood has as much tradition as anyone in Arkansas.
