Friday volleyball results include MH getting 4 wins over Flippin

Mountain Home was victorious in all four volleyball matches they hosted Friday night against Flippin.
The junior varsity match needed four sets, as Mountain Home posted scores of 25-11, 25-22, 14-25 and 25-14. Lauren Wehmeyer led the J.V. Lady Bombers with 17 kills, three blocks and five digs; Emma Wilber had 16 kills and seven blocks; Andrea Payne recorded eight kills, Jordan Massie added six kills; Lily Hinson finished with 26 digs, Emma Crabb ended up with 18 digs and 49 assists; Olivia Crabb provided 15 digs; Abby Green had 14 digs; and Corena Fox added seven digs. The J.V. Lady Bombers remain undefeated in 16 matches on the season.
Mountain Home beat Flippin in the freshman match in straight sets with scores of 25-11 and 25-7. The Junior Lady Bombers improve to 13-8 on the year.
The eighth grade match was also completed in straight sets, as Mountain Home topped Flippin 25-18 and 25-21. The Eighth Grade Lady Bombers are now 12-3.
The seventh grade match needed all three sets to decide a winner. Mountain Home came out on top over Flippin with scores of 25-9, 22-25 and 15-10. The Seventh Grade Lady Bombers’ record stands at 3-9.

Mountain Home Christian Academy had mixed results hosting Ozarks Christian Academy.
The Lady Eagles did not fare well in the varsity match, as they lost in straight sets. Ozarks Christian posted scores of 25-19 and 25-14.
It was a different result in the junior high match, as it needed all three sets. Mountain Home Christian topped Ozarks Christian 23-25, 25-23 and 15-4.
