Arkansas’ longest continuous festival continues Saturday in downtown Yellville. The 75th edition of Turkey Trot, sponsored by the Mid-Marion County Rotary Club, will conclude its two-day run at the Marion County Courthouse square with a full slate of activities.

The day begins with another All-American breakfast from 6 to 9 at the American Legion Hut Post 61. One of the festival’s biggest events is the Mid-Marion County Rotary Club Parade beginning at 10 a.m. Participants will need to start lining up at 9, and there is no pre-registration required. To line up, take Arkansas Highway 14 and turn east on 11th Street by the School of New Hope. There will be signs directing participants where to go.

Backwoods Rebel will be the opening band to take the stage from 11 to 1, followed immediately by the announcement of the Miss Turkey Trot and scholarship winners. The Turning Point School of Dance will put on a performance from 1:30 to 2:15, the Leslie Williams Band will be on the stage from 2:30 to 4:30, the Ridge Runner Cloggers will perform from 4:40 to 5:30, Joe Batterton and Mark Edwards will take the stage from 6:30 to 7:30, and Buckshot will provide the music for the street dance to close out the festival from 8 to midnight.
