North Arkansas Electric Cooperative (NAEC) is advising many of its members are experiencing a delay in receiving their mailed statements this month.NAECs vendor processed and mailed the statements Oct. 1, but some members still have not received them as of Monday.NAEC says, “We attribute this delay to the new service standards the United States Postal Service (USPS) instituted Oct. 1. According to the USPS, transit time for standard first-class mail may take up to five days for mail traveling longer distances.”
Those who have not received a statement may view a PDF of their statement or their balance on the NAEC mobile app or NAEC Member Account Portal at naeci.com. They also may call NAEC at (870)895-3221 to speak with a member service representative or use the automated phone system.
Members with an email address might consider adding E-Bill notifications to their account. They will then begin receiving monthly emails with a link to access their statement online.
