Students and staff at the Flippin High School will be honoring veterans and their families with a Veterans Day program, Thursday. The program will take place in the Flippin High School gymnasium beginning at 8:30 a.m., with doors opening at 8.
The program will feature music by the Flippin High School band and choir, a presentation of the American and military flags and speakers from the VFW Hovell Barrett Post. The program will also feature a special guest, Retired Lt. Col. Tim Johnson, a military and veterans representative from the Arkansas Attorney General’s Office.
There is no admission fee for this program, and all area veterans and their families are invited.
