Over 100 parcels of land in Baxter County will be up for sale this week. Arkansas Commissioner of State Lands Tommy Land says his office will hold an auction of tax-delinquent property in the county Tuesday afternoon at 1 in Knox Rooms A and B of the Donald W. Reynolds Library in Mountain Home.
Land says the auction will feature parcels that have been tax-delinquent for at least four years.

Anyone is eligible to attend the auction and bid on the available parcels. Land says the only requirement is a buyer has to have $100 cash for every parcel he or she purchases.

Land says he encourages anyone seeking more information on the auction to go to Commissioner of State Lands’ website at cosl.org. The auction portion of the website has a numerical listing of the available parcels. In addition, there are video tutorials about how to conduct research on parcels before making a purchase.
Land says they also have another online feature known as “AR Lands Map.”
