Basketball makes up the local Monday schedule, as three of Mountain Home’s junior high teams will be in West Memphis to meet Wonder. The eighth grade girls’ game tips off at 5 followed by both freshman contests.
Elsewhere on the junior high level, Norfork hosts Calico Rock, Flippin travels to Yellville-Summit, Marshall makes the trip to Shirley, Bergman heads to Elkins, Valley Springs entertains Kingston, Omaha is home against Alpena, and Jasper hosts Berryville.
In high school basketball, Mountain Home Christian Academy travels to Lead Hill, Cotter makes the trip to Mount Judea, Viola heads to Fox for makeup games with Rural Special, and Timbo entertains Concord.
Gainesville’s junior varsity boys will begin action in the Norwood J.V. Tournament. The JV Bulldogs will take on Ava at 6:30.
