A Gassville woman was injured Wednesday evening in a one-vehicle accident in Baxter County. Thirty-five-year-old April Altenbaumer was transported by ambulance to Baxter Regional Medical Center with what were described as suspected serious injuries.
According to the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, Altenbaumer was traveling on County Road 58. She reportedly failed to negotiate a curve, and her vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a group a trees.
Damage to the vehicle from the 8:39 p.m. accident was estimated at $8,000.
