Greene County Tech needed all of regulation and an overtime period to take down the Bombers 47-44 in the Hangar on Wednesday night in the semifinals of the Ultimate Auto Group Basketball Tournament. Braiden Dewey picked up where he left off Tuesday night, dominating the Eagles down low to the tune of six points in the first quarter, which helped Mountain Home weather an early barrage of threes from the Eagles, as Greene County Tech came out and hit three threes in the opening minutes of the ball game, which propelled the Eagles to an early 9-8 lead after one quarter. After a slow-paced second quarter, the Bombers went to the halftime break with a 17-12 lead. The third quarter was more of the same, but at the end of the period, on a broken play, Ky Bickford knocked down a three at the Buzzer to give Mountain Home a 27-21 lead after three quarters. Business would pick up, however, as the Eagles started to heat up from downtown, as four different Eagles knocked down shots behind the arc in the fourth quarter. The Eagles charged back and completed their double-digit comeback, as Greene County Tech’s Jared Noel knocked down a 3 with 10.9 remaining to tie the game at 41. The Bombers would have one shot for the win, but they were off on their attempt at the buzzer. In the overtime, Greene County Tech was able to push ahead due to the heroics of two threes from Benji Goodman, who had not scored all night. The Bombers missed a shot from Bickford at the buzzer to close out a 47-44 victory for Greene County Tech.

Mountain Home was led in scoring by Luke Proctor with 17 points, Dewey also threw in 14. Greene County had 10 different players score, but none finished in double digits.
