Loftis joins BRMC Board of Directors

A member of the KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot family has an additional position with Baxter Regional Medical Center. Heather Loftis has been named to the hospital’s board of directors.

Loftis has served on the Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation Board of Directors since 2018. She also serves on the boards of Mountain Home Education Foundation, Arkansas Community Foundation and Twin Lakes Community Foundation and on the Arkansas State University-Mountain Home Development Council and Baxter County Library Foundation Advisory Council. She serves on the Mountain Home High School (MHHS) Athletic Hall of Honor committee and was part of the 1994 Lady Bombers basketball team inducted into the Hall of Honor in 2019. Loftis is a past board member for Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce, Serenity Inc. and Donald W. Reynolds Library serving Baxter County and has been a member of the Mountain Home Rotary Club.

Loftis has spent 10 years working in healthcare philanthropy, first for Arkansas Children’s Hospital Foundation as director, Children’s Miracle Network, before moving back home to serve as director of annual giving for Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation in 2004. She joined the family business, KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot, in 2008 and is now a co-owner.

Loftis is a Mountain Home native and 1995 graduate of MHHS. She later earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Central Arkansas.

Baxter Regional Medical Center Board Chairman Randy Hopper says, “Heather is a great fit on our Board. Her family has deep roots in our community, and her experience will be an invaluable asset to our hospital leadership.”

In addition to her co-ownership of KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot, Loftis and husband, Chris, own The Meat Shop and Bookworms Café at the Library. They have two children, 20-year-old Mia and 7-year-old Zane.
