Development of 10 patio homes tops MH December building permits list

Ten building permits for patio homes in the Glenbriar Commons 55+ development tops the list of building permits for December, according to a report from Jeannie Anderson from the City of Mountain Home Building Inspection Department.

The permits, with a total construction value of $1.5 million, were issued to Leisure Homes Corporation. The one-story, 1,796-square-foot homes are being constructed in the 1000 block of East 16th Street.

Two commercial remodel projects are on the list.

The first was issued to Southwind Storage for a project to be located at 2234 Glenbriar Drive. The project has a construction value of $175,000 and covers 8,500 square feet.

Also on the list is a permit issued to contractor Brandon Ellison for a remodel project at Baxter Regional Medical Center. The 1,800-square-foot project has a construction value of $160,000.

The Building Inspection Department issued a permit to David Starkey for a residential project to be located at 1309 Laurel Road. The project has a construction value of $2,650 and covers 96 square feet.

A permit was issued to the Baxter County Conservation District for an unspecified project to be located at 406 West Wade Street. The project has a construction value of $2,000 and covers 180 square feet.

The remaining four permits were issued for signs and include
-Cupples Sign Company on behalf of Rock Family Dental, located at 500 Hospital Drive in the former location of Petkovich Family Dentistry, with a construction value of $8,237;
-Oxford Signs on behalf of Ashley Havens (State Farm), located at 2183 U.S. Highway 62 West, with a construction value of $2,650;
-Dijohn Designs Company on behalf of Diamond State Barber Company, located at 1041 Highland Circle, with a construction cost of $250; and
-Tasty Greens To Go LLC, located at 86 Paul Wood Lane, with a construction value of $200.

Total construction value of the 18 permits issued in December was $1.8 million.

The cost of all permits issued for the month of December totaled $6,480, including the actual cost of building, electric, mechanical and plumbing permits.
