A boil order has been issued for a portion of the Flippin Waterworks system.

The Arkansas Department of Health’s (ADH) website indicates the order was issued Saturday for customers on county roads 7016, 7019 and 7023.

The boil order is a result of a water line break.

The new order brings the total to three now active in the area.

An order remains in place for the entire Leslie Waterworks System, according to the ADH website. The system in Searcy County was placed under the boil order following a water line break.

A boil order issued by the Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) in late January for the entire Fifty Six Waterworks system remains in place, according to the agency’s website.

The order for the system in Stone County was issued Jan. 31 due to a construction-related break.

Under the boil orders, all impacted customers are advised their water may be unsafe for human consumption. Water used for drinking or food preparation should be boiled briskly for one minute prior to use. All ice cubes should be discarded and only boiled water used for making ice.
