The wintry weather advisory for North Central Arkansas includes Baxter, Marion, Searcy, Boone and Newton counties from 6 Friday morning until 9 Friday night. While Fulton, Izard and Stone counties are not included at this point, Gilmore says they expect the advisory to be expanded south and east later Thursday or Friday.

The winter weather advisory for southern Missouri runs from 3 Friday morning until 6 Friday evening.

The National Weather Service says roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous.
