Rezoning, variance requests on MH Planning Commission agenda

The Mountain Home Planning Commission will meet Monday afternoon at 1.

Old business on the agenda includes a request for a variance for property located at 147 South Main Street. The property is owned by The Dels Inc., and the request will be presented by CEO Mark Bertel Jr.

New business includes a request to rezone property owned by Justin and Lindsey Powers located at 1039 South College Street from Commercial C-3 to Commercial C-2A. The request will be presented by attorney Ted H. Sanders.

Retail service uses permitted for Commercial C-2A properties may not be open for service beyond 10 p.m. nor before 6 a.m. Permitted uses include funeral homes, some restaurants and retail sales.

Also on the agenda is a discussion presented by Donna Myers of Carlile Highlands, a citizen concerned with the water runoff from the Cobblestone Ridge development.

The meeting will be held in the council chambers of the Mountain Home Municipal Building.
