A Mountain Home woman has been arrested on a murder charge following a stabbing incident in the city late Sunday night. Forty-four-year-old Rebecca Lynn Henley is charged with first-degree murder and is being held on a $500,000 bond.

Mountain Home Police Chief Eddie Griffin says officers responded to a call of a stabbing around 10:30 Sunday night. When officers arrived, they found a 17-year-old male with a stab wound. The victim was taken to Baxter Regional Medical Center, where he died a short time later.

Henley was arrested at the residence.

The investigation into the incident is continuing, and Chief Griffin says no other details about the incident, including the victim’s name, can be released at this time.
