16 building permits issued in March

Two new residences have topped the building permits list for March, according to a report from Jeannie Anderson from the City of Mountain Home Building Inspection Department.

The permit for the first home to be located at 144 South Sheeks has been issued to Hutch Homes. The construction value of the 4,000-square-foot home is $500,000.

A permit for the second home to be located at 418 Oak Ridge Road has been issued to UC Construction. The construction value of the 3,647-square-foot home is $450,000.

A commercial remodel permit has been issued to Chris Casteel and Richard Byrd for a building located at 1209 Commerce Drive with a construction value of $25,000.

Other permits have been issued for residential additions to:

*Thomas Kincade for a project located at 1021 Locust Street with a construction value of $1,821;

*John Daugherty for a project located at 230 Louann Drive with a construction value of $3,600;

*Lawrence Newton for a project located at 329 Cherry Street with a construction value of $7,500;

*Pat Babcock for a project located at 505 Powers Street with a construction value of $6,000;

*Ray and Danae Bagwell for a project located at 818 East 16th Street with a construction value of $52,000;

*Richard Nevers for a project located 210 Nelson with a construction value of $9,638; and

*Timothy Knoll for a project located at 1515 Benton Street with a construction value of $3,000.

The remaining permits were for commercial signs issued for:

*Lumatech Signs on behalf of Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen with a construction value of $9,000;

*DiJohn Designs on behalf of Engage Church with a construction value of $615;

*DiJohn Designs on behalf of Ace Hardware with a construction value of $900;

*DiJohn Designs on behalf of Highland Mortgage with a construction value of $5,700;

*The Beauty School with a construction value of $1,200; and

*Cinnabon Food and Auntie Anne’s with a construction value of $100.

Total construction value of the 16 permits issued in March equals $1,076,074.

The cost of all permits issued in March totaled $2,733.
