The Mountain Home City Council will have the third and final reading of an ordinance regulating unsanitary conditions when it meets Thursday evening at 6. Earlier this month, Mayor Hillrey Adams said he is looking to strengthen the regulations to address properties needing more attention.

The council will also vote on adjustments to the 2022 budget, an amendment to a resolution providing for and adopting a budget, the potential sale of a fire department van to the Baxter County Office of Emergency Management and an ordinance waving competitive bidding and authorizing the purchase of thermoplastic pavement markings.

The meeting will be held in the council chambers of the Mountain Home Municipal Building.
