Mountain Home Christian Academy has announced Alecia Czanstkowski has been chosen as the new principal.

Czanstkowski previously worked for the Mountain Home Public School District and retired in December 2021, after 29 years of service.

She is a Registered Nurse and Licensed Educator. Czanstkowski began her career as a school nurse for Nelson Wilks Herron, Mountain Home Junior High and High School before transitioning to teaching.

She instructed the medical classes in the Health and Human Services Academy at Mountain Home High School and was the Medical Internship Instructor for MHHS at Baxter Regional Medical Center. She also led the Health and Human Services Academy program.

Czanstkowski says, “I am so blessed to have this opportunity. I can’t wait to begin serving in this new role in this next chapter of my life. I truly believe that God led me to this place for such a time as this.”

Czanstkowski has been married to her husband, Ron, for 30 years. They have two adult children and one granddaughter.

Board member Doyne Byrd says, “Alecia brings a wealth of experience and knowledge from the multiple roles she filled in the public school that pale in comparison to the love of Jesus Christ that she brings to our students at MHCA.”

Czantskowski’s first official day at Mountain Home Christian Academy will be August 1.
