Another portion of north central Arkansas is now under a burn ban. According to the Arkansas Forestry Commission, outdoor burning is now prohibited in Fulton County.
Fulton joined Izard, Searcy and Stone as the area counties under a burn ban on Tuesday. Baxter County is currently not under a ban, but the city of Salesville is. Outdoor burning in these areas is prohibited until a substantial amount of rain has been received.
