Seven people were injured when the Frisco Silver Dollar Line Steam Train derailed Wednesday evening at Silver Dollar City. In a statement from Silver Dollar City, officials say six park guests and one park employee were injured and taken by ambulance to nearby medical facilities after being treated at the scene by on site paramedics. Officials say non of the injuries are believed to be life threatening.
The train was full at the time of accident. The Missouri Division of Fire Safety tweeted last night they are investigating the accident.
