While rain is underway in some portions of the Twin Lakes Area, a possibility of a wintry mix is expected to begin Monday evening. North central Arkansas is currently under a winter weather advisory until 3 Tuesday morning.
Meteorologist Joe Goudsward from the National Weather Service office in North Little Rock says the system is moving into the Twin Lakes Area from the west.

While some side roads and bridges may have some issues overnight, Goudsward says he expects most of the travel conditions to be sloppy.
