Local restaurants serving on Thanksgiving Day

Many restaurants in the Twin Lakes area will be open on Thanksgiving day.

The Dels will be hosting their 4th annual Thanksgiving dinner for the community. They will be offering a free, grab-and-go dinner from their Rio Burrito location, located downtown on the square. The meal includes turkey breast, green beans, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, roll, and a dessert. Meals are first come, first serve, and no questions asked. Limit one meal per person unless more meals are needed for a family. Pick up will be Thursday from 11 until 2.

A free Thanksgiving Dinner will be held from 11 until 1 on Thursday at the Clarkridge Fire Department located at 12101 Arkansas Highway 201 North. For more information, call 870-736-5832.

The Salvation Army will be holding a drive thru Thanksgiving meal Wednesday afternoon from 3 until 6 at 212 Arkansas Highway 201 North. Please RSVP at the Social Services office located off Presbyterian Drive.

Skippers will be holding their Thanksgiving special Wednesday from 10:30 until 2. The menu includes sliced turkey, dressing, green beans, sweet potato casserole, roll, and dessert. The cost is $11 and is first come, first serve.

Echo & Bee will host a Thanksgiving buffet from 10 until 3 that will include turkey, orange marmalade ham, sweet potato casserole, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy green beans, salad buffet, rolls, and fruit dessert buffet. The cost is $16.99 for adults and $10.99 for kids 10 and under. Kids 4 and under are free. Echo & Bee is located at 1560 SOUTH College Street in Mountain Home.

178 Club in Bull Shoals will be open for Thanksgiving from 11 until 3. Reservations must be made by Tuesday at noon, with take-out dinner available. The cost is $29.99 for adults and $17.99 for kids 10 and under. Call 870-445-4949 for reservations.

VFW in Bull Shoals will be hosting their Thanksgiving feast from 1:30-4. The menu includes turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes & gravy, sweet potatoes, green beans with bacon and onions, cranberry sauce, dinner rolls, along with a variety of desserts. The cost is donation only.

Jamie’s Restaurant of Mountain Home will hold its holiday buffet from 10 until 3. The cost is $29.95 per person and kids 10 and under are $15.99.

PJ’s Lodge & River Run Restaurant will hold their Thanksgiving buffet Thursday by reservation only.

At the time of publication, Gaston’s Restaurant was fully booked for their Thanksgiving Meal on Thursday from 10 until 7.
