Mountain Home picked up one win as they played three junior high basketball games with Annie Camp Thursday at Jonesboro.
The Junior Lady Bombers were able to beat the Lady Whirlwinds 42-32. Jayla Yonkers led Mountain Home with 24 points, including going 6-of-7 from the free throw line. The Junior Lady Bombers are now 11-5 on the year.
Mountain Home did not fare as well in the freshman boys’ contest as they fell to Annie Camp 61-39. The Junior Bombers were led by Rhett Gilbert with 14 points, and Jackson Corp chipped in 11. Mountain Home falls to 7-9 on the season.
The evening started with Mountain Home’s eighth grade boys losing to Annie Camp 53-21. Tucker Thompson was the Eighth Grade Bombers’ top scorer with 14 points. Mountain Home’s record drops to 8-4.
