Searcy County woman arrested for terroristic threatening

A Searcy County woman has been arrested for terrorist threatening when she threatened to shoot or burn the victim.

According to the probable cause affidavit, deputies from the Searcy County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a residence with a report from a caller who stated female inside threatening to kill him.

The victim told authorities 48-year-old Monica Alicea pushed him when he was trying to leave and threatened to pour gas and burn him if he returned to the home. He states Alicea allegedly had a gun and gas and ask him if he wanted her to shoot him or burn him. The victim also alleges Alicea stated she was going to shoot his mom and brother as well.

During the interview process, authorities observed Alicea’s behavior sporadic and aggressive, changing topics quickly, but always spitting and stomping while speaking.

Alicea is currently being held in the Stone County Detention Center on $5,000 bond and a no contact order with the victim.
