The winter precipitation in the Twin Lakes Area has knocked out power to several area residents, the restoration process is ongoing, but there are many members without power.
KTLO’s Heather Loftis had a chance to speak with NAEC CEO Mel Coleman about the outages and how they are handling the restoration.

As of 11:45 Wednesday morning, North Arkansas Electric Cooperative was reporting outages to 29,878 of its members. Baxter County has the majority of the outages at 14,398. There were also outages to 793 members in Marion County, 6,606 in Fulton County, 4,904 in Izard county and all members in Stone County.
Several area customers of Entergy Arkansas are also without power. The count at 11:45 included 828 in Baxter County, 4,960 in Marion County, 2,792 in Izard County, 1,168 in Searcy County, 8,238 in Stone County, 5,616 in Boone County and 143 in Newton County.

Additional outages have been reported to a portion of the members of White River Valley Electric Cooperative. The tally includes the lone member in Baxter County, one member in Marion County, 383 in Ozark County, 299 in Taney and 518 in Douglas County.
