Power outages continue to affect Twin Lakes Area residents

The Twin Lakes Area continues to see widespread power outages following Tuesday night’s snowfall.

North Arkansas Electric Cooperative is continuing to report 13,417 members affected. KTLO’s Heather Loftis spoke with NAEC CEO Mel Coleman about the restoration process.

NAEC reports 6,862 members without power in Baxter County, 2,330 in Fulton County, 1,771 in Izard County, 391 in Marion County, 1,850 in Sharp County and 184 in Stone County.

Entergy Arkansas is also reporting multiple outages across the area. As of 6:50 Thursday morning, Entergy is reporting a total of 19,084 members affected in Arkansas. Loftis spoke with Entergy’s Customer Service Manager, Mark Martin, about the ongoing restoration process.

The count includes 802 in Baxter County, 3,150 in Marion County, 941 in Izard County, 767 in Searcy County, 5,752 in Stone County, 4,116 in Boone County and 60 in Newton County.
