ADH holding public meeting for recent Fish Consumption Advisory Tuesday

The Arkansas Department of Health will be holding a public meeting Tuesday evening at 5 at the Donald W. Reynolds Library Serving Baxter County.

This meeting is for anyone who has questions about the Fish Consumption Advisory recently issued for Walleye in Bull Shoals and Norfork Lakes.

The Arkansas Department of Health’s Fish Consumption Advisory for Walleye in Bull Shoals and Norfork Lakes is as follows:

– General Public (men, women, and children seven years and older): Recommend eating no more than two meals per month of walleye (18 inches or longer) from these lakes.

– High-Risk Groups (pregnant women, breastfeeding women, women planning to be pregnant, and children under the age of seven years): Should not eat walleye (18 inches or longer) from these lakes.
