The Calico Rock Arkansas Main Street Network will be hosting a fundraiser for the Sean Hunt Memorial, March 11 from 11 until 4.
The fundraiser will be ‘Jail and Bail’, where the community may throw friends and family members in the 1973 production of the major motion picture of The Bootleggers Jail.
The fundraiser costs $20 for a 30 minute sentence, but if the participant does not want to sit in jail, they may bail out for $20.
Community members will be arrested on the premises at Historic Calico Rock Main Street. There will be a quilting demonstration from the University of Arkansas extension office in Melbourne which will be held in the Nook at 40 Peppersauce Alley. A special exhibit of The Bootleggers movie will be held at the Calico Rock Museum from 11 until 4.
