A Baxter County man has been arrested after he was found trespassing in a shop building.
According to the probable cause affidavit, the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a shop building being broken into along Buford Road. The victim told deputies two individuals were at her residence who were not supposed to be there. When deputies arrived, one individual had already left the scene, leaving 27-year-old Todd Plumlee on the property.
The victim told authorities her son woke her up and said someone was looking into his window. When she looked outside, she observed Plumlee inside her shop building. Deputies were unable to locate signs of forced entry, but the victim stated she believed Plumlee may have a key as there has been other incidents involving him entering the shop.
Plumlee was charged with a felony count of breaking or entering, misdemeanor charge of criminal trespassing and was found to be in violation of a no contact order with the victim and her property. He is currently being held in the Baxter County Detention Center on $5,000 bond.
