Sunday afternoon at 2, the City of Flippin will hold a celebration for the Flippin Jail which as been placed on the Arkansas Historic Register.
The Flippin Jail, coated at the corner of Park Street and 2nd Street, was built in the 1920’s. Marie Wagner from the Marion County Heritage Society spoke with KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot News to discuss the event.

The Arkansas Historic Register has begun the process to have the Flippin Jail placed on the national register. Wagner says they are awaiting approval and should know something before the event this weekend.
