As a portion of the state of Arkansas continues efforts to recover from Friday’s tornadoes, a local government is looking to assist. The city of Mountain Home has sent two police officers and a crew from the street department with a few pieces of equipment to help the residents of Wynne.
Mountain Home Mayor Hillrey Adams says the officers have been in the Cross County seat since Friday.

The Mountain Home mayor says he is currently unsure how long the city employees will be in Wynne. He plans to have contact with them on Monday and get more details.
