It’s been over a month since the announcement of the new Bomber Youth Football League. As preparations continue to field teams for the coming fall, some events and deadlines are soon approaching.
The deadline to sign up for the program is May 1, and a registration event is scheduled for Saturday morning from 9 to 11 at the L.C. Sammons Youth Center in Cooper Park. Brent Edens and Mountain Home High School head coach Steve Ary recently visited the KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot studios. Edens and Ary say the program is offered for any youth entering third through sixth grades next year, and it’s not limited to just Mountain Home students.

Edens says to help with expenses, nearly $15,000 have been raised for the league, but more is needed.
